A Stitch in Time at John Muir’s Birthplace

Stitch felted ‘secret pockets’ for the museum display, use handspun yarn to embellish and make cords for hanging. Learn Viking knitting on a lucet to make caterpillars and snails or let your imagination run wild! Use oak twigs to make tiny weaving frames.

Part of a series of free beginner’s workshops inspired by the oak tree and its role in supporting the greatest diversity of wildlife of any of our native species.
