| Posted by Jo (jmoulin) on 20 Mar 2008 |
Professor Fred Last will be talking on HOW DO PLANTS RESPOND TO OUR WEATHER AND CLIMATE IN EAST LOTHIAN, the why's and wherefores of flowering.
John Muir's Birthplace, 126 High Street, Dunbar at 7.30pm on Wednesday, 26th March.
Since coming to East Lothian almost 40 years ago, Professor Last has been monitoring and keeping a record of climate change in our gardens. The talk is part of the Friends of the John Muir's Birthplace programme but non members are welcome on payment of a small donation of £1 towards the expenses of the evening. This talk should prove of interest to gardeners.
