Nature's Beloved Son: Rediscovering John Muir's Botanical Legacy offers a unique opportunity to see John Muir's American botanical collection displayed for the first time in Dunbar; the town that inspired his love of nature. It brings together prints of Muir's plant specimens, drawing and journal notes with herbarium specimens from the Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh including one collected by Muir himself.
The exhibition will include activities for families, project work from local schools and living plant displays. It is being delivered in partnership with the Royal Botanic Garden. It is on loan from Exhibit Envoy and was curated by Bonnie J Gisel with photography by Stephen J Joseph.
