New exhibition now on!

Yosemite National Park, 125 years old

On 1st October 1890, Yosemite National Park came into being to protect over 1,100 square miles (3000km sq) of California's Sierra Nevada. John Muir was a key figure in its creation. This new exhibition looks at Muir's contribution, the area's geological history, the story of its Native American population, its attraction for artists, photographers and more. Dunbar Grammar School's biennial visits are represented by some of the superb photographs taken by former pupil Euan McIntosh in 2014. This exhibition is presented by the Friends of John Muir's Birthplace and will be on until 28th Feb.
